In this chapter, we learn that the Daidos have consented to the marriage, and that the father and daughter are going to visit the shrine where they were raised. The father says that he will bring his daughter to the shrine as soon as she is old enough to go on her own, and the mother says that she does not want him to stop her from visiting the shrine.
