In this chapter, we learn that Hikari is in love with a man named Akari, who has come to court him in order to be his mate. Akari tells Hikari that he doesn't need him, since he's already had sex with another man, but Akari reminds him that they're both in love and that they can have sex as long as they don't get in the way of each other's sex life. He tells Akari to stop trying to get him to have sex with the man, since it's not proper for two people to be in love at the same time. Hikari tells him to shut up, and Akari responds by telling him that he can't be ridic, since they've both had sex before, and they can just have sex now to affirm their love for each other. He says that he came to court Akari because he wants a mate who's good for nothing, and that's exactly what Akari has in mind: he wants someone who'll be "good for nothing" as an omega.
