About This Chapter
The narrator tells us that the daidos have decided to give their son, Amane, an education in order to raise him as an heir to the family. The narrator says that they can't allow an "omega" to raise an "alpha," so they're going to have to give Amane a special education. Amane's going to live in the house with his father and grandfather, and he's super excited about it. He says that if he can have his dad and grandfather with him, he'll be all right. Everyone is super impressed by the greeting, and Amane is super happy to be home. He asks his father if he practiced greeting the first half of the greeting correctly, and his father says that he did, but that the second half wasn't so great. He's so happy that he wants to stay home forever and ever. He thanks his dad for giving him such a special home, and then he asks his dad if it's okay for him to be an omega. His dad says that's fine, but he'd rather protect the children than make fun of him. He points out that two years have passed since Amane was born, and she's already an omega, so they should be able to keep her.
