The narrator tells us that he's in the middle of the ocean. He's super excited to be on the beach with Hiroyuki. He wants to take a bunch of pictures and send them to Hiroyuki and his fiancee, Ao, so they can see what's happening in the city. The narrator coughs a little and says that he was a bit nervous when he heard that Hiroyuki said something funny. He doesn't know what to make of it. He says that it's the first time in his life that he has been so close to someone, and he wonders if he'll ever be alone again.
