In this short scene, we learn that Hiroshi and Kichi are on their way to the market to pick up some vegetables. As they are about to leave, Hiroshi tells Kichi not to fall asleep at the wheel, as he is supposed to be at the helm. He tells Hiroshi to order him around to keep an eye on the wild boars that are frequent in the area. He also tells him to stop the truck and call the police if there is a wild boar in the field. When he hears that the police have been called, he rushes out of the truck to try and save the girl.
