The sex scene in this chapter is one of the most cringe-worthy scenes in the book. It begins with a former farmer who has been kicked out of his house for being a delinquent. The farmer, who is now a member of the military, is having sex with another man. The other man is a "former delinquent farmer" , and the sex scene is described as "so erotic" and "so gross" . The former farmer is horrified at the sight of the other man having sex. He tells the man to "smack smack" and to "prank sniff" because "it feels so good ! . . that I pant get scared." The farmer's response to the sexual scene is that he is not used to it. He says that he has "cleaned every gra thing" and is ready to "do clean thing" again. He then tells the former farmer to kiss him and "suck" him. The old man is shocked and says that the words "kiss sucks you wouldnt touch there" were probably meant for him, and that he will "say it" to the farmer when he awakes.
