The narrator hates sex on their first day of living together. He coughs and calls for help. He copies his notes to give to his friend, who is staying in bed. The narrator says he wants to visit her, but he has club stuff to give her, so he won't be able to. He thinks his fever has gone down a bit, but tatsuma isn't back yet. He says he hopes he will be home soon. He's back in his room. When he wakes up, he finds that his friend is sleeping on the couch. He squeezes and taps to wake her up, but she doesn't respond. He asks if she's taking a bath, and she says she hasn't, because he'll see her naked. He tells her he can do it himself, and they get into an argument about whether or not they're getting "embarrassed" by seeing each other naked
