In this short scene, we learn that Duke Avis has brought Wenxin back to the manor so that he can "splutter" to "complete a sentence" . We're not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing, but we're guessing it's a good one. We also learn that Avis's father doesn't approve of his son's use of magic in public, and that's why he's been avoiding everyone. But, as far as we can tell, Avis isn't the only one who's used magic in the public. In fact, the Duke of Avis himself has used magic to do the same thing.
