In this chapter, we learn that the queen of the kingdom, Isabella, has returned to the kingdom with her daughter, princess Wenxin. Isabella was known for her healing powers, her divination and prophecy, and for her devotion to her people. When she saw that the princess was using these powers, she was amazed. She asks the queen if she is really the mother that she has seen. The queen replies that she is, and that she will grant the princess the title of "Mother of the Kingdom." The queen then asks the aristocrats to invite the princess to lead the next dance.
