About This Chapter
In this chapter, the young princess is introduced to the concept of "Kuizi quality control" . Kuizi means quality, and quality control is the ability to control one's emotions. In other words, the princess wants to be able to do whatever she wants with her life. She wants to go to her uncle's house, Ganachwalls Manor, to be with him all day long. The princess asks why the king allowed her to come, and the answer is that she wants to listen to the stupid lessons with the stupid ladies. She also wants to see what the princess is capable of, and if she is worthy of being her rival. She asks her uncle, Mr. Jones, to come along with her. He tells her that the queen fought for women to be allowed to use her magic publicly before she ascended to the throne. She fought for this so that women could use their magic without the approval of the king. He also tells the princess that the meaning of "shuijing" is "water mirror" , which means "the same frequency" as the "water elemental magic" that the princess experienced in her dream.
