In this chapter, the narrator reflects on the events that have taken place in his life. He realizes that his mother has been trying to get a grandson for a long time, and that sister-in-law, who is pregnant, has planned the whole thing. He blames himself for trusting her, and wonders how she could have planned such a thing as this. He also wonders why sister qing is such a bad influence on his mother. He wonders if he has been exposed as a friend, and he wonders if she has deleted him from her social circle. He thinks that it is impossible for her to know that he is the one who changed the report, but he is thinking of visiting her in person. He sees in the photo that she and her husband are having a quarrel over a toy, and she puts one hand on her waist, while she holds the other hand on the other's. The narrator wonders if this is because she is expecting her brother's child, and so her status in the family instantly rises. He feels that he cannot be defeated by words like these in the video, as she is afraid he might have misunderstood her. In his previous life, he never thought about these things, but now he feels like he is dreaming.
