The next morning, Shum opens the door to the house and finds her brother and sister-in-law waiting for her. Shum tells them that the cat is the one who pushed the girl down the stairs. The cat was behaving poorly in the arms of the girl, and she suddenly jumped out of the way. The girl falls to the ground, and Shum realizes that it was the cat that pushed her down. He tells Shum that the girl's legs are not bleeding, which indicates that she is not seriously injured. The family doctor comes to check on the girl and tells her that there is nothing serious, but Shum still refuses to let the girl come back in the house.
