In this chapter, we find out that Madame Cassina's daughter, shi-shi, has been working on a new set of designs for her mother. We learn that she is very talented, and that her mother is very proud of her. We also learn that Monsieur Laure has invited her to come to the press conference in order to clarify the matter of the copying of her designs by Sunray. We find out, however, that Madame Laure is not the daughter of Mr. Laure; she is the granddaughter of the man who invented the sunray.
