In this chapter, we learn that Ming is trying to destroy the wedding because he is afraid that she will get bullied by the mob. Ming, however, is confident that he will be able to expose Ming's "wicked heart" since he has someone in his heart. Ming asks Ming to divorce him and give him the wedding dress. Ming refuses, saying that he is not allowed to leave unless he is dead. Ming laughs at his stupidity and says that the child he is going to have with Ming will be his greatest pain in life.
