In this chapter, Lan tries to convince himself that he's done the right thing by revealing the identity of the person who released the "test server" of "Florfire." He's convinced that this person is the one who's been trying to destroy everything. Lan is so convinced that he can't face his true self that he begs his friend to come with him to the hospital. He tells Lan that if he ever finds out that Lan made a mistake, he can top him up with money from the Epic Games store. Lan says that this is the "final salvation" for his mistake, and he vows to fight until the end.
