Fatal Code

In this chapter, Lin learns that he will be killed today. He tells the rest of the gang to keep the repaired space as large as possible so that he can kill them all. Lin tells them to hold off on repairing the patch of land that has been created by the sun. He says that the sun and the moon are already there, and that they will not be able to escape. He also tells them that the fatal code in the game is really clever, because it even shuts down their logging out port. He wonders where the yan'ers are, and he hopes that she and Lin didn't try to infect the game. The other guys don't care, because they're experts at the game, and even if they do, they will be fine. Lin is confused, because he thinks that the founder combined Lin with his own consciousness. Lin asks the founder why he's doing this. The founder says that Lin and Lin's consciousness are connected, but Lin points out that Lin has his own dna, which the sun can't do.
