In this chapter, we get a brief glimpse into the mind of Holograms, the main character of the first three chapters. Holograms are a kind of projection of the real world into the future, and Holograms is a projection of his own consciousness. He's a little freaked out by the idea that Holograms might be able to control his own mind, but he doesn't care. He wants to kill the guy who's trying to scare him. He also wants to make sure that he can control the guy's brain, so he uses a butcher knife to stab him in the guts.
