The flame demon tells Lan that if he loses half of his strength, he'll be unable to repair Shaohao's men. Lan is too scared to face them, and the flame demon dares him to fight one on one. Lan refuses, saying that he must choose one of his three comrades first. Lan says that the game is full of bugs, and that if the game uses soul-eating sword, it will eventually use soul-eater formation. Lan asks how he can save his brother without his clan's power. He says that if they manage to save only one person, then it isn't a total loss, but for the two other people who are still in the game, they should wait a bit. Lan calls the flame-eating demon a "rotten-bone freak" and says that he will soon get all of Lan's strength back from him thanks to the strength of the clan. He calls for her to be released, but she refuses to listen to him. She says that even after she's been defeated, no one ever came to rescue her, and she could only bully weakerlings who entered evil's stomach.
