After the game is over, whoosh returns. He tells Lan that he's still in the game, but he can't leave because of the seal. He also tells Lan to go meet his "silly brother" . Lan thanks him very much, and he goes off to open up the Eastern continent with his brother. The source of Chaos has been blocked, he says. Lan wakes up to find that his brother is now part of the "firewall" that he created. Lan says that he didn't change his character settings, but that's because he hasn't "experienced enough pain." Lan is totally confused. He's already seen through his whole plan. He says that his plan worked, because he created an "adverse effect" and "forced 'fiendfire' to stop running." Lan's brother will either die or be forced to go offline. Lan can still find chenyan and her mom, but they're on high alert, so they won't let his brother in again. Lan exits the dungeon and goes to the Emerald City.
