The gate guard says Lin's test is over, and Lin is no match for him. Lin runs after him, but the flames on his body have extinguished. Lin says he can still give him another chance. The seer has gone to the tower, but hasn't replied since. The two men hide behind a wall, and the flame-demon says he has to fight with them now.
