In this chapter, Desdemona tells Dodo that she doesn't want him to go back to Rome with her. She tells him that if he wants to take Dodo home, then he should do it. She wants him to give up on her, and she tells him to stop being sad. She says that she'll take her life at any moment. If he has nothing to say, she's going to kill him.
