Dodo wakes up in the middle of the night and tells his wife that he has come from Manchuria to tell her that she is safe and alive and that even his uncle has no right to be her master. He tells her that he will kill her even if she tries to get involved in his business. Dodo tells her about how his brother managed to get back his life after being bitten by a beast. He says that seeing his brother's pulse is a miracle and that his life should not be a problem.
