He tells the court that he will meet with the empress, who is waiting for him in the capital. The court decides to take the woman into custody, but before he can identify her, he will have to pass through the capital, which is a time-consuming process. Caixin, the court's assistant, explains that he has come up with a plan to trap Dodo. He suggests that they spread fake news about the woman's imprisonment in order to catch Dodo, who has come to kill the envoy to the emperor and leak information about the peace talks. He asks the court to help him in his mission. The guards of the two white flags are ready to help, but Caixin tells them that the entire Ming dynasty has not heard of him. The empress is waiting outside the palace for Dodo to come and rescue her, but he will not respond. The han people are clever, and Caixin wonders why they are not taking the woman away.
