The Host explains that the villain, Ge, is a member of a famous family of celestial masters. He was born with "psychic eyes" and is a disgrace to his family. In the original story of the book, Ruan mo discovers that Ge will make a core of the Rakshasa formation and turns him into the villain. However, because of Heaven's will, Ge is the villain in this story. The Host promises to get him some books on the Celestial Master's techniques so that he can compete with the heroes and heroines of this world. He hopes that the Host will not think of leaving him again.
