In this short scene, Lingxuan tells his master that he has sensed "demon-qi" in feng-jue's body and that he is no longer his disciple. He tells him to take the injured man home and investigate the matter. Ling says that he will no longer be his disciple and that no one will be hard on the man except him. He says that when he masters all of his techniques, he will disable him and throw him into a brothel, where he will be humiliated and pained. Ling asks why he did not expose him in public, and the master replies that it was a hidden quest to obtain favorability. Ling gives him some medicine and tells him that he can raise his arm, but he cannot do so because of the injury. He asks if the injury is bad, and Ling says it is. He then asks if he should give the injured person a hand, and he says he has been holding the master's hand for a long time. The master asks if she is special to her, and she replies that she is. She then asks him if he can be her cultivation partner.
