The next morning, Ling wakes up to find that she's been drugged again. She tells her master to "be gentle with him" and to "smile open eyes" so that she can win Ling's heart. Ling admits that it's hard to win her heart when you're drugged, but when she kisses Ling, Ling doesn't push her away immediately. Ling says that she just thinks of it as "a favor" to "xiao yi" . She's not worried about the dark, she says, because she has "a goal" and "someone" she wants to stay with . Ling tells Ling to "focus" on her lover, and to let him "do whatever he wants." Ling tells her that after last night's sex, Ling saw that Ling was "more vigorous than me" , and that's when Ling realized that she was "blacked out" the night before. Ling asks her master if this is really necessary, and he says that he and Ling are not competitors, but that they're on "intimate terms" now. He tells her to hold off on calling Ling "miss ling" anymore.
