In this chapter, we learn that Master Ling is defending his disciple, Master Ju, who is a member of the rival sect. Master Ling cannot believe that Master Ju is defending Master Ju because he is a senior disciple. He tells Master Ju that he is defending him because he has a right to do so, even if he is not a senior master. He then goes on to explain that he has bet Master Ju with Master Ling that if Master Ju wins, he will replace Master Ju as his disciple. The elder tian tells Master Ling to calm down, because Master Ju has made a mistake, but Master Ling tells him to go back to the peak with him.
