He wants to give ling a pastry, but he's not sure if he should have one or not. Unsure of what's in the pastry, ling says he'll have to wait until tomorrow to see if he can get a pastry. Worried that ling will find out about his affair with the woman of his dreams, he asks the manizer to excuse him for the next day. Confused, zz says he didn't think shang-guan-ru'an was going to put any drugs in the pastries. Believing that he'd done something wrong, he tells the host to get rid of him. He says he wants to sleep in the tub with ling and kill her if she wakes up.
