In the dark, the servant tries to calm the master down. He tells him that the villain is afraid of the darkness, and that he is using infinite wealth to do so. The master realizes that the servant has made up his mind to kill the villain, and he tries to comfort him. He asks the servant to hold his hand, and the master agrees. The servant asks if the man is okay, and then the master tells him to wait for the maintenance man, who will come in a minute to check on the man. When the man comes in, he tells the master that the elevator has shut down because of a power outage. The man tells the servant that he will be there within a minute, and when the man arrives, he will find out how many people have been trapped inside the elevator. He also tells the man that he has reached out to Lady Dedlock, but that his fear of the dark has gone away. He wants to turn on the lights, but the master stops him
