When the Governess returns home, she finds that her husband has accused her of having an affair with him when she was away. The Governess tells her husband not to worry, as she is her man. She tells him that she will not allow anyone to have a hard time with him. He tells her that she is "quite feminine" and that he is the favorite son of the Prime Minister. She accuses him of "seduling" her royal goodness and of "talking her into this". She tells the man that he will be driven out if he does not stop talking. He says that he looks happy, and she tells him to step back. She is disappointed that his favorability has increased by five, but it has dropped by five. She says that men are capricious, and he should not touch the cutlery that he has touched. She asks him to try the dish she has been given and he says that all the food that she has given him is his favorite. He asks her if she wants to kill him and she says that she does not want to kill her. He eats "like a bird" and she is surprised that he eats like that
