Young Master and Ling Ling are reunited. Ling Ling wants to go to the "spirit sea," but Ling Ling can't figure out where they're going. Young Master says that two men from the Heilin family are coming after them, and that the girl is the one who can guarantee their escape. He asks Ling Ling to follow him to the sea, where he's dug a tunnel between the city of Shenhun and the "yu dynasty." Ling Ling says that he'd planned to hide in the sea for a bit, but that it seemed like it wasn't going to be enough, so he wanted to escape right away. He tells Ling Ling that he will always follow him, even if he goes somewhere else. Ling tells Young Master to hand over the lady right now, because he'll kill her if they come any closer than that. He says that they can wait for three hours, and then they can go get the lady. Ling asks if they can really escape, and Ling says he doesn't know, but he knows that he can take the men and escape the troop pursuing them. He's looking for a boat that can move underneath the sea. He finds it, and they board it.
