In this chapter, Lu Ming explains that he's smart enough to know that someone is protecting him. He tells us that he got help from the emperor several times, and that he tried to call for help, but the purple vines alerted him that a powerful force was following them. Lu Ming tells the emperor that the spirit beast is a "level seven spirit beast" and that it is just a "phantom-rank warrior" . The emperor is like an "absorblute crushing power" , he says. He wants to give the beast to him, but he doesn't want to destroy it. He says he'll check to make sure that the other beasts don't eat the beast. He also says that shaoshi and his big brother are preparing for the "ultimate war" with the emperor's brother's family, the Xue dynasty. He's not sure if the war will be won or lost, but Lu Ming knows that the emperor will always be "the god of war" because he met his aunt.
