This scene opens with the young master of the Ming dynasty, Cai Ming, buying some clothes and exclaiming that he just bought them. He's shocked to learn that Cai Ming's troops have been defeated. Cai Ming exclaims that the next time he steps on the territory of the Xue dynasty, he'll be dead. He and his men rush off to find out what's going on. They find out that the capital of the Zhan dynasty, Xiao Lang, is hiding in the territory belonging to the Ming family. They're going to catch him and kill him. The young master is all, "Hey, we've got a bunch of warriors and war emperors waiting for you guys to surrender!" Cai Ming says that he's flattered to have eight warriors and a war emperor waiting for him. He wants to know why they're here, but he can't figure out why. He begs the young man to let them go, but Cai Ming tells him to kill the young men first.
