About This Chapter
In this short scene, the young protagonist, who has just returned from the battle with the beast, tells his friends that he is bored with life. He has been in high school for three years, but when he left the exam room, he "coughed up blood" and "blacked out" . He is now in the spirit continent, where he is forced to fit in. He wonders when he will be free from his life of poverty. He feels that he has to break free from the cage of his family. He tells his friend that he does not want to be a part of the drama of the family's marriage. He says that he will kill the person who saved him that night. He realizes that it is not him who saved his life that night, but it is the other way around. He blames himself for not being able to defeat the beast. He wants to find a way to redeem himself, otherwise, he will lose his place in the martial arts academy. He decides to throw a duel between a junior warrior and a high-ranking beast.
