The next day, the narrator returns to the garden, where he finds that the sun is shining brightly. He is excited to see the results of his energy gathering. He feels that he has reached the second level, and that he will be able to use the wisdom energy to govern his vessels. However, he feels that the first level has been reached, and he will have to crack the "sariara pearl" and unleash the "wisdom energy" in order to achieve this second level. If he fails the first time, it is okay, but if he does not succeed the second time, then it is still okay. The narrator feels like he is going to fail again, and so he decides to try again. He realizes that the golden energy is directed to his "conception vessel" at once, but he cannot use his spirit to control it. He fears that if his meridians are destroyed, he will lose all of his fortune.
