Cousin Siyu finally arrives at the university. He tells his cousin that he has lost his charm and that he needs to find it immediately. Siyu says that he'll have someone investigate the crime scene first. He says that if the thieves are still in the city, he's going to pursue them down. He also tells zhu that he brought the money he owes her for rent. He doesn't worry about the theft, though, because he thinks that jiang Siyu will crack the case. He asks zhu to take a look at his step-by-step description of the thieves' movements. If they're moving in a car, he says, then he can't tell zhu the truth. If he tells her the truth, then everyone will know about his special ability. He wants to call siaoling immediately and tell her the location of the three thieves, but he cant do that with his phone. He needs to call a public telephone so that he won't be caught. He begs his boss to take him to a public phone near the university so that even the police will have trouble finding out who gave him the information. The boss agrees to take Siyu to the university, where he can look at the scene of the crime. He sees three thieves in a white car with a camouflage voice.
