In this chapter, we learn that the answer to the question, "Is inside the jade?" is "Yes." The answer is inside of the jade. It's called "The Golden Buddha on the Clouds" because its surface is covered with "cloud-like" patterns. The answer, "Yes," is that there are nine "cloud patterns" on the jade, and that the old man is not taking advantage of the kid. The old man tells the kid to count the number of patterns, and the kid has 15 minutes to do so.
