This chapter's epigraph comes from the yama's speech, in which he says that the dungeon is too dangerous for the guards to handle. He suggests that they rustle up the guards and find out who the owner of the hostel is. He also suggests that the curtains are closed and that he can't hear anything in the room. He says that he's always suggested getting the room treated, but that's not the point. The good thing is that the person who came and saved their son came and they saved him. They'll keep the whole thing a secret for the rest of their lives. If they had been able to save their son, they wouldn't be in the dungeon now. They say that they'll do anything to protect their son as long as they're able to do so. The yama says that their son's dog is responsible for all of the murders in the hostel, and that the dog is also responsible for killing them. This is terrifying, he says, because the baby is always a result of a parent's love. He adds that there was an inn in which one person was killed every night. The souls didn't know what killed them, so they couldn't figure out how to solve the mystery. This dungeon is getting more and more complicated, and it's going to end soon.
