It's almost midnight, and Shmoop and the others are still trying to figure out what to do with the ghosts. They're still using the ink fountain, sticky rice, and other stuff to scare the living daylights out of the undead, but they haven't yet figured out how to get rid of them. They have a room on the second floor that's empty, so they're going to have to wait until the next morning to get in there and use the room as a place to kill the undead.
