When the guests return to their rooms, they are surprised to learn that the murderer has not yet been found. The guest tells them that he has gone to examine the corpse and finds that it bears no marks of the wound he inflicted on the body. He tells the guests that he needs to organize his thoughts and lists them down. When he was a child, his mother used to write mystery novels so that the murder methods would have no loopholes. If the murderer had not been found, things would have taken a serious bad turn. The law that appears on the back of the corpse is that it once belonged to hashime, the wife of the murderer. She died for love and that means she either abandoned her husband or failed to attract his heart. The murderer hasnt been found yet, and the guests are worried that he will not be found. He goes back to the body and finds some interesting things on it. He says that if he were the murderer he would speed things up. The sword that killed him, he says, would never see the blood again.
