The next morning, the narrator wakes up to find that he's finally feeling better. He wants to go to the gym to get some more work done. He asks a young man named "student number 10" if he'd like to go for dinner. The young man says he'll go for a bite to eat. The narrator tells the young man that the gym has all kinds of food and drink for him to enjoy. He compares the food to the food in the movies. He says the food isn't as good as the food at the gym, but the food is still pretty good. He's going to have a drink, though.
