When they reach the research institute, huan wonders if someone has planted a bomb in the back of the car. He remembers that he was captured by the yellow vests and that the old professor taught him how to use these kinds of bombs. He also remembers that the lunatics are killing people by killing bats. He asks huan if he has anything for self defense, but huan says he doesn't, but he can get a "lucky bag" with the flowers he has. huan tries to make a spear long and a spear short, but the spear is too heavy. He decides to test the spear out later when he gets out of the vehicle. He sees a body on the ground, and huan thinks it's the body of a man who was recently killed. He wonders if the other members of the group are still around, and wonders if this man tried to escape from the vests. Worried that someone else has already taken over the research center, he decides to search for the files in the data room behind the door. He knows how to open the files, but there's no way to do so without knocking on the door, which is too strong. Confused, he grabs the door and tries to pry open it, but it is too weak. He realizes that they've got intruders, and they need to find a way to get out of there.
