This chapter opens with the princess blowing the whistle to summon her brothers. The brothers have come to see her off as well, and the princess asks them what they are doing there. They tell her that she can open every door in the castle with the key. The king is laughing at her, and she asks him if he is supposed to kill the blue beard. He replies that he is. The blue beard is gone. This feels like a "horror game" . The servants are weird, too, because they are trapped in the same situation as the princess.
