In this short scene, Song li introduces himself as a "gentleman" and a "lifeguard." He explains that his name is "yijun" and that he is a "grown man" . He then introduces the girl as "gu yuhuan" and asks her why she is crying. The girl responds that she is not from the story of "liaohai" but that she has chosen a corpse, painted skin, "gan jiang" , and "mo xie" for her "male concubine." Song li then explains that the seven-day countdown to the challenge has begun and that they must enter the room according to the order in which they enter. He is confused by the whole thing, but manages to get the key to the room. He and the girl exit the room, and Song li tells the girl that they have arrived at an inn. He tells her that the last time he was married to a "blue beard," he was "married once again."
