In this chapter, Caio Ming wins four more cards, bringing his total to six, and he is now in a good position to clear the deck of cards in the upcoming game. Miss Araki Junko tells the group that they will have to keep searching for the laws of the universe in order to clear up the deck. The laws are as follows: Law 3: Every pool contains a "shell" with a "major arcana card" when a player gets the card; Law 4: Water monsters are "omnivores" when they eat anything; and Law 5: Water monsters eat anything. The group is so impressed by the laws that they are all eager to learn more about them. The game is still a long way off, however, and the group still has a lot of work to do.
