The next morning, oshui comes to pick up the wounded girl. He tells her that he will take her to the doctor's office, where she can get her medicine and clothes. She apologizes to him for not protecting her better, and he apologizes too, saying that he is sorry that he did not protect her better. He says that his father came back, too, and that he has come to unite with his sister against her father's death. He asks her if she will ever leave him, and she says that she will, and they will be together forever. She tells him that she has told him a dozen times that she is sorry, but that she does not like it when he says he is. She says that he can go anywhere he likes, but he must tell her before he goes.
