The scene opens with a loud bang, followed by the sound of someone running away. It is the happy farmhouse, who has just arrived in the city. He is horrified to find that the man is a thief and that he has refused to pay his medical bills. He tells the happy family to get away from him, and they do so. The happy family tells him that they are almost in town, and he can return himself. He says that they should have this as the last time they see each other, and that it is better to leave him than to worry about him.
