After the meal, the two men discuss the previous night's events. Cai tells Cai that he wants to know what the secret is between him and Mr. Zhuang. Cai asks him if he has gotten rid of Zhuang to be friends with him when they were kids. Cai says that they used to be good friends, but that they didn't like making things ugly. Cai tries to explain that he is drunk, but Cai says he can't drink. He tells Cai to take a sip of his grandpa's liquor, which is brewed in his grandfather's distillery, and then he says he'll grow up in the world of the distillery. Cai then tells him that if he teases him again, he's going to tweak his ear. Cai goes on to say that he regrets not listening to him when he said they could elope, and that he wishes he could cut his heart out so he could show it to him. He says that he will leave the company and go to Linfeng after they're back. Cai thinks that he has already missed a great opportunity, and he plans to take advantage of it.
