In this short scene, Du tries to lift Linfeng's hair, but he's too distracted to do so. He tells himself that he deserves to be punished for lying to him. He then goes to the bathroom to get some sleep. He's about to leave when he receives a text from fei kun, asking him to meet her tonight. Du's not sure whether he should go alone or with someone to protect him, so he says he'll have to face it on his own. . Du tells him that he can't wait to find out what happened to his father, because he'd still love to be with his father. He also tells Du that linfeng is the one who murdered his mother, and that he has to find the murderer and avenge her. Du says that he only cares about the one person he loves, and he doesn't care if that person's family members hurt him.
