About This Chapter
When the scene opens, the family is all gathered together in the kitchen. Uncle Fu is worried about his sister, who is away on business. He asks his son-in-law to take care of his sister. He tells the boy to go out and learn how to cook. He also tells him that the movie is almost done and that it will soon be finished. The boy asks about the movie and learns that it is in post-production now. He then tells his father that he will go with him to visit his sister's grave. He says that he has never been there before and that he would like to visit her. When the boy asks if he can go to the grave with him, he is told that he is not allowed to do so. He is told to go and wash his hands. When he comes back, he finds that his sister has left him. She tells him to go away, but he refuses, saying that he only deserves to be left alone in the dark. He tries to open the door, but the rat tells him it is not true.
